| Eximo closes a warehouse and it's good news!! | 08-05-06 |

How often can a company close down a warehouse and view this as a success?
Due to the efforts of Russet Engineering Sales Ltd, this is exactly what Eximo has done in New Zealand.
The restructure of our technical partner network has seen Russet Engineering Sales Ltd become a major player in product distribution throughout New Zealand.
What transpired is Eximo has been able to close down its Christchurch warehouse because Russet’s efficiency is so complete in the South Island.
This highlights the importance of our independent distributor network. Russet has economies of scale to reach those vital markets (both in New Zealand and Australia) that Eximo’s multinational distributor would not normally target.
Russet Engineering Director, Mr Stephen Grellet, says Eximo's revamped product distribution system is working well for this independent company.
“In the past, we just purchased product as and when we required, but the changes have also led to a price restructure which is more focused to our needs, so now we are carrying healthy levels of stock especially in the solid ducting ranges,” said Mr Grellet.
“This makes our distribution so much faster and caters efficiently for our clients who may be engaged in a time sensitive project.
"We're very strong in the South Island and also Auckland. Our primary markets are the timber sector and wood finishing industry as well as the heating and ventilation market."
Russet Engineering has three offices in the South Island of New Zealand (Dunedin, Christchurch and Nelson) and one office in Auckland.
Russet Engineering Sales is a privately owned company specialising in the importation and sales of Industrial Power Transmission, Conveyor, Industrial Hose and Fittings and Industrial Products.
